I post a query regrading gratuity and death benefits (National pension) upon death. My self Smt. Bindu W/O Late Satayanarayana who works in Navy (Civilian) died in road accident on Apr 2021 according my husband personal office records before marriage his nominee was on his father (2016) Later after marriage (2018 married date) he didn't update the nominee details of wife and child (minor) Please let me know if any act or law in the Indian legally system. how these death benefits are paid either to nominee or class -1 legal heirs ( Wife, Child , Mother). Thank you.
