recently govt.taking possession of private building avoiding the pressure of the owners for making corona treatment centres.which law give power to the govt.to act like this

1. Legally EVERYTHING  inside the Country's borders belongs to the Govt., and Govt. can for the larger public interest, can just simply temporarily /permanently acquire it .... with or without Notice (depending) to the Owner /Occupant.

I gree with Hemant Agarwal. Please note the The Epidemic Disease Act 1897, Thye Disaster Management Act 2005, read with Esebtial Commedities Act of 1955 along with Section 188 IPC, Section 144 CrPc etc. Government is ompetent to deprived any property of the  citizen in larger public interest or say Tera Nullis cocept is foreign in the settings of our Constitution.
