Getting legal on property documents

why is it always recommended to get legal done on the paper work before buyng a property.

if it is all about the property which is something that we could look into documents by ourself...what additional things that lawyers look into.

what is the reasonable cost for getting the legal done on paperwork,in chennai..i understand it varies by lawyer expertise, but then what is the cutoff price

It is very important  that we make sure about legal process for paper work about a property. It just for safety and authentication and cutoff price is not fixed. You can take help from any lawyer.

Its old saying ,"Mushtari Hoshiar Bash" meaning "Buyer Beware".The angle from which the Lawyer sees the property document is different. It is advisable to engage a lawyer than to repent on a later date.

Please take help of a lawyer known to you through a reference. When you are spending x amount on the property and say 1 % or 2 % on brokerage, the lawyer's fees may be quite low in comparison.

In my view avoid people who charge very high for routine matters.
