we had bought a commercial property in pagdi system from a trust 1 1/2 year back with all payment by chques and stamp duty and registration done in our name rent reciept too has been transfered in our name now we have got a notice from a advocate that mr X (previous tenant ) has a dispute with mr Y and Y has rights in this premises, nw my querry is what is the role of the landord i.e the trust and what should we do?
