Firearm License with All India Validity

I am into transfarable job, I travel throughout India on assignments for 3-4 months. I am having a licensed arm with area validity of All India.

My question is do I need to register it every time I move from one location to another, or just initmating the police station is sufficient or I need not inform any body as the area validity is All India.

Please suggest as it is really difficut to deal with Goverment Babus three to 4 times in a year.

thanks

Although the area validity is All India as mentioned in your licence. But once your have changed your jurisdiction/place of residence,it is very much necessary and adviced that you inform the local jurisdiction police station. To be on the safer side. That rules vary from state to state depending on the Sensitiveness of area etc,
