Fir quash

whether HC has power to quash the FIR filed under passport act if no offense made.or only trial court will do

High court has ample powers under section 482 CrPC to quash FIR and lower Court has got no such power.

Dear  sir,

Thank yu very much for your reply.  because  in the HC   during the hearing Justice told us that FIR quash  for the passport case  will not be done in HC  and moreover you have wait for Trial court  judgement only.
