I need guidance how to deal the problem. we have given 5 lakhs to our made who was caretaker of our son . she was paying that money in insatllments to us . but becuase of pandemic situation we are now in our hometown and from last year she is not paying installments . and now she is saying she cant pay money as she dont have work . she has used that money for building her house . how to deal this .

Contact a local advocate and obtain necessary documents to keep the debt alive. This is the priority rest depends on your humanity and maid's honesty for the present.

How the amount of Rs. 5.00 lakhs is given to the Maid? Was there any document? If there is no document, legal action is not possible. Only moral persuasion shall work.

Yes, you can claim money but for that necessary document to prove that you have given her an amount of 5lakhs. Any Transaction Receipts or bank prove etc. I will suggest to contact a lawyer to settle your grievances. Advocate can better suggest.
