Expeditite petition

Sir / Madam, What happens if expeditite petition is accepted? And what if Bench changes after acceptance of expeditite petition? Do we have to put again other petition before new bench?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the term 'expedite petition' and its applicability within Indian jurisprudence. It explains that if an expedite petition is accepted, the case continues, and succeeding benches will handle it even if judges change. If the lower court doesn't expedite the matter, an application can be filed in the High Court for directions.

Be clear whether it is "expedite" petition or "expiditite" petition as stated by you.

Is it applicable in Indian jurisprudence ?

To me it is inapplicable in Indian context.

Petition will exist even if judges changes. cases runs on its own. Put an application in the court to expedite the matter stating the reasons. If the court does not listen to you file an application in the high court seeking direction to the lower court to expedite the matter.

Are you referring to petition for early hearing? Succeeding Benches would take up the matter, og not disposed of.
