Email Password Hacked

I could not understand what was the need of keeping your previous relation's email in your inbox. Once you got married or after the breakup all the things should been deleted then and there. And the more surprising thing to me is whats the need to hide the age from a husband :O I doubt because of all these suspicious things might be your husband hired someone to crack the id or how come some1 would know that you still have kept everything in the email.

I would like to know from all legal experts here that its a case of  hacking but if a person tells about his ex to her husband then does it come under any legal crime?? Lets say if a gal breaks up with a guy and then her ex simply tell about their relationship severity to her husband then its not good but does it come under legal crime??
