I have a personal loan with kotak mahindra bank and due to my job loss my emi are pending, I have been informed today that E/R warrant is issued on my case and case hearing is on 18th April.
Now I do live in Pune and court is MM court kolkata, westbengal, what should be done, what are my provision under law and if any one can support me to get the warrant cancelled from kolkata
1. In a loan default case a warrant can arise only if a case is already filed and you didn't appear despite summons. First check if this is a court notice, case number and which section applied. Don't panic bank can not send you to jail directly. If you have already avoid a summons previously then contact prudent lawyer and resolve the issue as per advice.
