Doing job and business togather

Dear sir,

I want to start a business. Right now im doing job in icici so can i do job and business togather. If yes then how can it be shown in income tax, if not then can u please tell why.

You have to ensure that your employer, i.e. ICICI Bank has no objection to your proposed business plans and the banking rules for the conduct and services of employees of the Bank does not prohibits you from going ahead with your proposal.

To my knowledge, the ICICI bank will not agree if you do business. Hence, you can do business unofficially. Then file income tax returns. Unless somebody complains the Bank, the Bank will not object you.
