dear friends, i brought a controversy before you.i get lot of phone calls from practising doctors regarding consumer courts which are flooded with complaints.all of them covered by professional indemnity.opposite is true , very few or nil complaints in bar council against lawyers.what is mentioned is true in wb.professional service nil here.what i understood is impartial openion.sr members kindly cast some light on this point.thanks in advance.

well Sir, i dont think there are nil complaints against lawyers.
i ve seen few trials before the Punjab and Haryana Bar council....one thing i must say the nature of job of doctors and lawyers is quite different.
moreover the general mind set of society is who will take action against the lawyers, but the fact is bar council does punish or reprimand lawyers if found guilty.
