Do i have to pay any amount to landlord. after the demise of my father.

Dear Sir,

Please advise do i have to pay any amount to landlord after the demise of my father. To change the tenancy rent receipt on my name. If so how much they can ask for?

No, You have achieved tenancy rights in inheritence so you need not to pay any additional amount to landlord for changing tenancy in your name.

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much! Can you please advise what legal action I can take if they force me to do so. Because they are forcing and has stop issuing rent receipt even I am paying my rents.

Send a notice to landlord and ask him to issue rent receipts for the rent he receivd from you and also ask him to furnish his bank details so in future you msy deposite rent in his bank account.
