If a divorce case has been withdrawn and a compromise has been reached between the parties, it is generally not possible to reopen the case for divorce. Once a compromise has been reached, it is considered a final settlement of the matter, and the case is closed.
However consult with Divorce Lawyer.

If the divorce case was withdrawn with the leave of the court to file a fresh petition on the same grounds, then you will be permitted to file a fresh petition on the same grounds.

Please note that the case withdrawn as not pressed on the grounds of compromise, cannot be reopened

It cannot be reopened but filed afresh on the same grounds as there is separate / fresh cause of action for filing new case.

It is better to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for proper advise and necessary proceedings

what are the facts of the case.

Alpa Jogi (Advocate) (Lawyer / Advocate)     09 May 2023

If the order says that on account of the settlement reached betwenn the parties, the case is disposed off than fresh case cannot be filed. But is the order says that as the case has ben withdrawn by the petitioner with liberty to file fresh petition if required, the same is disposed off, than fresh case can be filed.

This is as per the understanding of details given in the facts. For more accurate guidance, you can consult me.
