Divorce - query on property relinquishment for final decree

My spouse and I have mutually agreed to divorce and have already filed a joint divorce petition in court. As part of our mutual understanding, I have agreed to relinquish my rights to an apartment property in her favor.

My question is:
Is it possible to have the court issue an order regarding the relinquishment of property rights on the final hearing day itself, as part of the divorce proceedings?

Or would we need to handle that separately through another legal document or proceeding?

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Who is the owner of flat?

It depends on the conditions mentioned in the MOU of this divorce petition. You can very well inform court that you will deal with the property transfer case separately though there will be a mention about this transfer in the divorce case pleadings.

Relinquishment of your right in the property is  not applicable in your case.

Seek help of a local lawyer.

Relinquishment of share can be executed in favour other shareholder in the property devolved in succession.

You can execute a settlement or gift deed in favour of your spouse.
