Hello,

NC is registered in non congnizable offence and FIR is registered in cognizable offence. If FIR is registered investigation is done by police it may include arrest of accused and in NC case only complaint is registered and no action is taken by police.

N C R = NON-COGNIZABLE REPORT

FIR = FIRST INFORMATION REPORT

Is it not an acadmic question to be solved by your tutor/ guide / professor ?
