Crpc125 appeal - pending payments

Is it mandatory that all arrears must be paid before appealing crpc125 lower court judgment in high court?

At the time of first Hearing at Hon'ble High Court depending on the submissions by your counsel

The Judges may ask you to deposit 50% percent of the pending Arrears
