Cross examination of co-plaintiff

Is it permitted to examine/cross-examine a co-plaintiff?

This is needed as the said co-Plaintiff has not clearly mentioned certain important points in his examination-in-chief.

Yes it is possible to cross-examine Co-plaintiff. There is provision in Indian Evidence Act which allows to cross examine its own witness

Then such cross-examination of co-plaintiff should be before or after the defendant's cross?
