What is your problem post that. However if there is bigamy by a Hindu ,you can file for that.

The offence of bigamy or marrying again during lifetime of husband or wife is punishable under Section 494 of the Penal Code (S. 494) and under Section 17 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

For every action, there is a limitation period and you have to convince court for such long silence.  Contact local advocates with your locus standi.

IPC Section 494 is punishable with 7 years imprisonment and liable to fine also, as such limitation does not operat in such case and complaint petition can be made even after 20 years, but see that there are strong evidence against the accused..

The question is filling petition for bugamy after 20 years  and also asking SC judgment, and not on cognizable or non cog or compoundable/non compoundable, non bailb;le and  bailable. etc. Accordingly i responded, but thanks for your feed back on the matter.
