We have to file a recovery suit against a woman who cheated me of Rs.12 Lakh. I want to know the court fees for filing the civil suit against her. Both parties belong to Chennai. Kindly let me know the the total court fees that would be incurred for filing the civil suit at Madras High Court.

court fee is 1.14 % approx for all india. It may be different state to state but it will be approximately 1.14% of the recovery amkunt. Also you can go for criminal case.
