since so many years my Municipal corporation tax was less. now from financial year 2022-23, the Pune Municipal Authorities have increased the property tax 3 times more without giving any prior intimation.
when I inquired with the tax department I got a reply that the Maharashtra govt had discontinued 40% rebate since 2017 onwards and this is the main reason to increase the tax 3 fold.
can learned advocate advice me suitable administrative or legal action against the Pune Municipal corporation to allow me the old property tax which was reasonable.
