question

what is plaint , What is petition , What is application in relation to filing of a suit. If a person wants to file a suit , what is the first step he should take. What is the format of petition. Is the word petition said only in case of filing a writ petition

if any civil suit is filed then suit is called plaint and if anything in the shape of petition is filed then it is petition and it is wrong to presume that only writ petition is the petition. If keeping in view the facts of the facts any interim application is filed then it is disposed off first.
