Construction labour safety issues

In suburbs of Hyderabad ,while constructing an independent house G+2, the owner engaged a labour mistry to construct the house as per the structural engineers diagram and municipal approved plan ,funded by home loan. Now the labours are engaged by the mistry and he would get an adhoc basis on daily based on his known contacts and he makes an margin of around 1.5 to 2 L in this labour contract.

Question:

The labour mistry is forcing the owner to bare the untowards incidence expenses if any, otherwise it takes way his entire margin ? not willing take responsbility ??

Now what are the rights of owner here where the labours are hired/engaged by mistry for construction but in an unfortunate event what can be written in the labour contract agreement? experts please

Show the contract to a local prudent lawyer for proper appreciation of facts and professional advise, which are prima facie vague and academic/ subjective in the post.

This involves practical issues, hence get the contract drafted by an experienced lawyer in the local based on the prevailing situation

Mr.Vashista, Thanks for your observations,An ordinary person in this land lives in cruel world with various issues. It is kind of animal kingdom where a strong animal wants to live and kill other. Same way various people around do the same, not every one are lucky to enjoy on what they have ? All those are practical in nature where natural justice is a distant dream, if we get any service / product without strings then that day is a miracle otherwise, every thing is commercial & it seems whole system is corrupt. Believe it or not most of us might be on same experience.
In above the labour contractor is not ready to take any responsbility his only intention is to make margin and he says I can only given them infor on some safety precaution, beyond that if something happens what can I do? we dont want such untoward thing, moreover I do hire the low cost labour on day to day basis and why should involve owner in doing hiring and I donot have a company registered or unregistered? all his side contentions ???
