compassionate appointment

my father worked in LIC has passed away on 2017 due to illness meanwhile I was working in a private concern and resigned my job one month before his death to take care of him.At the time of his I am not employed anywhere. After his death I have applied for compassionate appointment but LIC refused me stating I am gainfully employed and I have appealed many time but they(LIC) are not considering my request .shall I approach court and suggest me I am helpless

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the eligibility for compassionate appointment following the death of an LIC employee. The original poster resigned from their job to care for their ill father and was subsequently denied compassionate appointment by LIC, who cited they were 'gainfully employed' at the time of application. Other users suggest that compassionate appointment is not a right but depends on vacancies, and that financial status certificates from relevant authorities might be required for consideration. The poster is seeking advice on legal recourse and experts to help them pursue their case.
