common wall property issue

There is a single common wall for 2 houses if we demolish the house the wall will be damaged we are ready to rebuild the wall after demolishing but the other party is not agreeing is there any process through court which will be as soon as possible

If you go to court, it will take a long time. So try to settle the issue in an amicable way.
