Hello All,
I am staying in a flat in a building. I would like to install a CCTV Camera in front of my door, for security purpose.
While installing CCTV a part of stairs of building comes under surveillance. As ownership of stairs is not with me exclusively, so is there any legal issue in installing the CCTV which also surveillance the stairs.

You have to take flats association permission for stairs. But not for your house
