I have an question regarding a practice in CBSE and other schools these days.
A school in Delhi suddenly started a criteria that only those student will get admission in XIth class Science stream who pass Xth class with 60% marks or more.
Note that such rule was not existing last year i.e. student was able to select stream science/commerce/arts etc whichever he/she wishes to. But withgout a decent notice to all students, and without any advertisement in newspaper etc, a school comes up with certain criteria and start imposing it on student. Is that lawful?
I want to get view point of members on this forum. Please comment.
I am planning to file a PIL petition also against this practice of this school. Any information in this regard will be useful.
