I understand your concern. Let me clarify: 1. _Caste certificate_: You obtained a caste certificate from Karnataka, which is a different state from your father's original state (Rajasthan). 2. _Variant name_: Your caste is recognized by a different name in Karnataka (Nayinda) compared to Rajasthan (Nai/Sain). In this case: - It's not necessarily wrong or illegal to have a caste certificate with a variant name, as long as it's a recognized equivalent of your original caste name. - However, it's essential to ensure that the certificate is issued by a competent authority in Karnataka and is based on your genuine caste identity. To avoid any potential issues: 1. Verify the authenticity of your caste certificate with the issuing authority in Karnataka. 2. If needed, obtain a fresh certificate from Rajasthan or Karnataka, clarifying your caste identity and its equivalence.

Thanks for your consideration sir,

I told my school about my caste Variant name they wrote nayinda in my tc with that I have made caste certificate of nayinda from tehsildar

But due to some quora feed I had a doubt will it cause any problems and I am preparing for central government job

So in my all record it is nayinda sir so should I ask karnataka authority or make a new obc certificate from rajasthan of nai caste

Given the social consditions in Rajasthan and Karnataks it is improbable that both castes are one and the same. It is advisable that, based on this certificate,  you do not seek any reservation in Karnataka.

I am studying in central government institute and preparing for central government job

OBC has two lists. one prepared by the State Govt (applicable only in case of sate govt jobs) and another prepared by Central Govt for that state (applicable for both central and state govt jobs). If your cast in is the central list you are eligible for central govt job.

My caste nai is listed in both state and central of rajasthan and nayinda of which I made.is also listed in state and central list of obc

Is it ok that I made certificate in karnataka rather in rajasthan sir

To my understanding, given the different social conditions, nai (sain) in Rajasthan cannot be the same or identical to nayinda caste in Karnataka. If at all you wish to take advantage of reservation based on caste, it could only be based on the caste certificate from Rajasthan. Such a certificate would enable you too seek advantage based on reservation in Rajasthan as well as in respect of Central Government and Union Territorries,

Both the Nayinda caste certificate and OBC (Other Backward Classes) certificate have their own significance and benefits. Which one is "better" depends on the specific context and purpose. Here's a brief comparison: Nayinda Caste Certificate: - Specific to the Nayinda community - May provide benefits and reservations specific to this community - Typically used for educational or job reservations, scholarships, or other community-specific benefits OBC Certificate: - Broader category encompassing many backward classes, including Nayinda - Provides benefits and reservations under the OBC category - Typically used for educational or job reservations, scholarships, or other benefits under the OBC category Consider the following factors to decide which certificate is more beneficial for a candidate: - Specific benefits: If the candidate is eligible for benefits specific to the Nayinda community, the Nayinda caste certificate might be more beneficial. - Broader benefits: If the candidate is eligible for benefits under the OBC category, the OBC certificate might be more beneficial. - Educational or job opportunities: Check which certificate is accepted or preferred by educational institutions or employers. Ultimately, it's essential to consult with relevant authorities, educational institutions, or employers to determine.

Sir thank you very much for your valuable time but you didn't get my point I am from nai from rajasthan studied in karnataka and made nayinda caste obc certificate

1)My question was it is ok that I made caste certificate of obc  from karnataka ??

Should I use the obc certificate from karnataka are i have to obtain a new caste certificate of rajasthan state and central but I have learnt that we can't make two state caste certificate so how should I cancel it if I am wrong from making obc caste certificate from karnataka

2)you earlier clarified that using synonym of caste is ok

Dear learned counsel Mr. P. Venu,

Does the definition of caste vary from state to state in India ? Kindly enlighten & oblige.

Thanks & regards
