Can the bank mark lien to bank a/c for credit card dues

The bank debited my personal a/c on 13-10-20 stating that there are credit card dues and thereafter marked lien on 1-11-20 stating that there are more dues.

I would like to inform that my card had no overdue status as on 1 March' 2020 and i had availed moratorium till Aug '20.

Can the bank do that without intimation and that too within such short span of time (twice) ?

Credit Card with same bank is a bad idea.

Bank has Right of Lien, which is a legal right and falls under Indian Contract Act they can claim credit card dues from your bank acount.

But if you think that amount deducted was not appropriate you demand money back if they don't comply you complaint to Banking Ombudsman first and after that to consumer court.

But can the bank mark lien even if 1 day overdue...?

Due date is due date, it also depends on the contract which you have with bank.
