Can a person dismissed from defence forces (air force/navy/army) join any central government job.

Sir, I am dismissed from Indian Air force on ground of 'refusal to get attested'. Can I join any central government job other than defence forces?

You may have to reveal the details of past employment and details of resignation or dismissal in the application form for employment.

The further process of recruitment will depend on the conditions of the employment.

You are dismissed from the job, leading to permanent disqualification for future employment either in the government or the public sector.

You can't get any government job.

Being dismissed from the Indian Air Force due to "refusal to get attested" might impact your eligibility for central government jobs. Here's what you need to know: Central Government Job Eligibility - *Dismissal from Defence Forces*: Your dismissal from the Indian Air Force may affect your eligibility for certain central government jobs, especially those that require a good service record or specific discharge conditions. - *Type of Discharge*: The nature of your discharge (dismissal in this case) is crucial in determining your eligibility for future government jobs. Possible Implications - *Restrictions on Government Jobs*: Some central government jobs might have restrictions for individuals dismissed from the defence forces. However, this isn't a blanket ban, and it depends on the specific job requirements and the department's policies. - *Disclosure Requirements*: You may need to disclose your dismissal from the Indian Air Force in job applications or during the verification process. Providing false information can lead to complications or even termination if discovered later. Exploring Job Opportunities - *Departmental Variations*: Different central government departments have varying requirements and policies regarding recruits with a defence background. Some might be more open to considering your application than others. - *Job-Specific Requirements*: Certain jobs might not have strict requirements related to defence service records, making it possible for you to apply. Next Steps - *Check Job Notifications*: Carefully review job notifications for central government positions you're interested in to understand their eligibility criteria and requirements. - *Consult Authorities*: If possible, consult with the relevant authorities or departmental representatives to clarify any concerns about your eligibility. - *Seek Professional Advice*: Consider consulting a legal professional or a career advisor who can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation.¹ ²

Not eligible.  The reason for dismissalis not relevant.

Dismissal  in Central Government per se casts a stigma and is a disqualification for being appointed in another central government job.
