Can a 5 years old child become a director/partner of llp

Hi

I have query about Director/Partnership eligibility.

Can a 5 years child (6 running) be come a director or partner in an LLP company which is into Services business.

Let me know

Kumar

Quick Summary
A 5-year-old child cannot legally become a director or partner in an LLP. While minors can be admitted to the benefits of a partnership with the consent of all partners, they are prohibited from participating in the management of the business.

A minor child of 5 years can't become a director or partner in an LLP company which is into Services business.

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     05 January 2024

The Partnership Act 1932, does not permit a minor to become a partner in the partnership firm. However he may be admitted to the benefits of partnership firm with the mutual consent of all the partners. He is not allowed to participate in management but remains liable to outsiders
