Call for Forensic Report

How to call for Forensic Report if the I O. has failed to give at the time of chargesheet in matters of 326A of IPC?

What is the stipulated time to file by the Police department or Forensic department to file for forensic report?

Quick Summary
If the investigating officer hasn't provided a forensic report by the time of the chargesheet in an acid attack case (Section 326A of the IPC), you can request the court to pressure the police to expedite its submission. While you cannot directly obtain the FSL report from the laboratory, the police are obligated to collect it and file it with the chargesheet. The accused is entitled to a copy of this report under Section 207 of the CrPC.

Section 326A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) deals with the punishment for acid attacks:

The police only has to obtain the forensic department report on the case, you can insist the court to pressure the police to follow it up and produce the same expeditiously

You have no right to seek FSL report directly from laboratory.

The police / IO shall have to collect the report and file with the charge-sheet, where accused is entitled for a copy u/s 207 CrPC.
