I am looking at an employment opportunity in a business that deals in discrete products which are used for pleasure. I have doubts if this business can be challenged under section 292 of IPC.
The section does not define words like "obscene" and "objects"
Can I rely on the vagueness and go ahead or is the risk too high? Are there any judgments which define these terms in reference to this section or others and can be extended to this section. The thing I know is that the products are not obscene looking. They look like any ordinary massagers but their descripttions reveal more and indicate that these are pleasure products.
Further, if I am in India and source of shipment is outside India can I be at legal risk?
Your thoughts on this would be helpful in my vocational endeavours. Please help.
