Hi All,
I received a Lok Adalat notice for unpaid bills of BSNL internet connection asking me to attend on a certain date next week. However I've paid the bills online today after receiving the letter.
What next steps should I take? Do I still need to attend Lok Adalat after paying the bills?

Do inform to BSNL authorities about your pending bills payment & get acknowledgement. That is enough.

Sure thanks sir and should I get the acknowledgement over a written letter delivered to my address or an electronic one should be fine?

Lok Adalat is not a regular court, it promotes compromise between parties. Attendance is optional. Your attendance should have waived the penalties if your financial position is bad. As a courtesy, it is your obligation to inform them that you have settled the entire outstanding and enclose a copy of the bill.

BSNL has already moved to Lok Adalat, attend it and submit receipts to close the case.
