Boomi thana land

Bhoomi Thana land in Tamil Nadu refers to land donated to the Bhoodan Yagna movement, initiated by Sri Acharya Vinoba Bhave in the 1950s. The Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Board, established under the 1958 Act, is responsible for overseeing these lands.Those who receive land under the Bhoodan scheme are subject to specific restrictions, including: The land cannot be sold, rented out, or otherwise transferred by the allottee. The allottee must use the land for its intended purpose, such as cultivation or building a house, within a stipulated period. The 1958 Act ensures that the lands are used for their intended purpose, and the Board has the power to cancel the allotment and resume the land if the conditions are violated.
