Dear Learned Advocates,
We filed a case against our previous advocate. The current stage of the case is filing of counter by the Respondent advocate. He is yet to give his counter as he didn't give it the previous date of hearing last month. We have our Bar Council hearing this Saturday and would like to amend our complaint, but we would require more time as the Advocate representing our bar council case needs time to go through the complaint as well as additional evidences.
When we asked our advocate whether we could submit the Amended Complaint after the Respondent advocate submits his counter, he didn't give a proper reply due to which I would like to know whether we can submit our amended complaint even after the respondent submits his counter.
Would it have any effect on our case?
Answers from learned advocates having experience in Bar Council/ Disciplinary Committees cases would be appreciated.
Thanks
