Bank transaction statements of wife

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to get wife's and FIL's bank transaction statements at the time of my marriage?

This will help me in proving that no dowry has been given and huge expenditures were not incurred at the time of my marriage.

No, you cannot get it unless you request the court for ordering your wife and FIL to provide it to court and court agrees to it..

In case court agrees to summon the bank for the information, how long does this procedure can take?

Do the banks keeps/provides 4 years back records too?
