bail on sunday

is this possible to get bail on sunday ?

Quick Summary
Yes, it is possible to get bail on a Sunday or public holiday. If arrested for a bailable offence, station bail might be granted by the police. For non-bailable offences, the accused can be produced before a remand magistrate on a Sunday to seek bail, though this is at the magistrate's discretion. Otherwise, the accused may be remanded in custody until the next working day.

Yes you can still get a bail on Sunday provided the accused is produced at the magistrates quarters.

Whether the accused / applicant seeking bail is lodged in custody, if so, who and where ?

No facts posted.

Is it a question paper or there are some facts leading to any problem.
