Article 14  

 Equality before law The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, s*x or place of birth.

Article 14 of Indian Constitution states equality before law, that means the state shall see all citizens as equals and will not discriminate on the basis of caste, Creed, s*x, religion, race etc. all citizens are equal in the eyes of laws.
It also guarantees equal protection of laws of the citizens.
