Applying for Passport in case of

Will this FIR affect my procedure for applying passport?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses concerns about applying for a passport after filing an FIR for a missing laptop. (1)You are a complainant and a victim and  (2) no allegations of criminal nature were pending against you.  Understand the difference between the two situations.
