Hello,
We received notification under NHAI Act in 2012 for acquiring our land. However, the award was not received until June 2014, by which time the new land acquisition act received assent of President and the new law was notified in Gazzette of India.
We have received compensation now, but are not sure about the basis of calculation of compensation. The compensation is definitely higher than the market value. Is it as per the new act?
How can we know the basis of calculation of compensation.
