The Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh resolved to request the State Government to allot 100 acres of land and funds for construction of High Court complex and further five acres of land for the Bar Council. At its meeting held to discuss the recent fire in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the Council, in its resolutions, said it would also request the State Government to take immediate steps for alternative and suitable arrangements for functioning of the High Court till completion of new building. The Council constituted a committee, headed by Bar Council Chairman A Narasimha Reddy, for follow-up action on the resolutions.
