Ancestoral property

Dear Sir/Madam,

My father sold our ancestoral property 20 years back and died after 1 year. one year later my mother also passed away. my father was a hard drunker and due to that my relatives bought all the agricultural lands from him. we are from tamilandu, erode district. my age was 12 when my father sold the land. now my age is 32. is it possible to get the land back? or any time limit is there to file a case. please advise.

will my mom get any shares in my ancestoral property. she also signed in one land sale. please advise?

thanks,

Shan

respected querist,

if the property sold by your father was ancessostral property then he had right to sale only his share and your share should inherit to you ,however this case is no time barred and comes under limitation but you were imature that time so you will get relaxation from this, you can file petition in the court for declaration of your share and possesion.for exact advise need some more information.
