After the FIR is filed, the police can add the other accused
My wife had filed a 498a and 323 FIR, My wife alleged that my spouse threw kerosene and set her on fire and warmed of my arms and head. Medical report was absolutely normal by the doctor. A video was created by me that my wife is perfectly safe in the video recording. Can I be relieved to cancel the FIR through the video proof 482?
If an FIR has been filed against you, the police may add more accused individuals. However, if you have strong evidence, such as a video proving the allegations are false, you may be able to have the FIR quashed. This discussion highlights the possibility of using video proof under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to approach the High Court for quashing the FIR. Consulting with legal professionals is recommended for personalised advice.

charges may be quashed by high court, depending on other primary evidences.
