Advocate's notice vs. letter on plain paper

what is the difference between the following 2 wrt. legal aspects ??

1) A notice sent through an advocate on his letterpad with his stamp & sign.

2) A letter sent by one party to another on plain paper by Registered AD.

Does no. 2 has the same weightage & significance as no. 1 ??

Amit can you be more specific on your second query ? Do you mean to say a notice sent from court by register AD ?

basically, the issue has not reached any court yet.

i want to send a notice to someone.

if i send my 'say' on a plain paper, would it be equivalent to A notice sent through an advocate on his letterpad with his stamp & sign ??

registered AD = registered acknowledgement delivery (service provided by indian postal service)

To my knowledge any notice or letter sent without courts order has no weight.

Which means that a legal notice sent thru an advocate without a court order also will not carry any weight? Is that right?

I hope no letter which is legal in nature or does not carry advocate's signature ,stamps etc..are valid in order to enforce or bring  change in things as required..

there is no much difference .  That the advocate notice will be based on legal requirements requiring  the complaince opposite party.

the party notice will be on the lay man's words.  the letter may some times the waive the right of sender.  But legal binding is one and the same on the both the notices and the later has strong binding on the party who is sending the letter

Absolutely no difference.
