Adoption

Can a adopted child cut ties with adopting family legally? Is there any provision for the same?

Quick Summary

Once an individual reaches adulthood, they are generally free to make their own decisions regarding past events, including their adoption. The thread seeks clarification on the necessity of severing ties and the process for obtaining a court order after registering an adoption deed, specifically mentioning Patna, Bihar.

Adoption of a Child happens when such person is a Minor. Once he becomes a Major he can very well take his own decions as to the earlier events about which decions were rajen while he was a Minor.
