Adjourned AGM

dear learned advocates

our housing society's original AGM, which was held on 27th August, was adjourned after discussing only 1 point of the agenda.

The MC has now scheduled the adjourned AGM after 30 days of the passing of the date of the original AGM on 27th September. Is this valid and legal.

The MC has also added new points in the agenda of the adjourned AGM and deleted a few points of the original AGM Agenda.
can MC add new points.

kindly update us with reference to relevant bye laws, rules, and sections of the Maharashtra Cooperative Housing Society 1960 if the above action of our MC is perfect and valid.

thanks in advance for your valuable guidance

Best regards

I think under sec.75 of the Act, the committee may amend/delete/add the rules but it should be approved by the majority in the General Body Meeting and it shall be approved by the Registrar/Asst./Joint Registrar of Cooperative societies.

Dear Sir

Thanks for your valuable inputs.

However my question is different. Can the MC  add any additional points in the adjourned AGM Agenda which was not there in the  original AGM held earlier

Thanks in advance

Best regards
