ADHAAR RELATED QUERY

I updated my ADHAAR address by using RATION CARD AS PROOF OF ADDRESS but later I come to know that in local language i. e. Marathi minor spelling mistakes has been made in my surname all other details are correct in English language. So how could I correct it & which documents are require. Thanks in advance for giving me your valuable time.

In most of AADHAR there is a problem in spelling in local language as the original system is in English and there may be variation in local language. It makes no difference to any of the purposes it is used as the Number in Card, bio metric is important.

You may login through your aadhar credentials and can make manually changes in local language. Aadhar website is beautifully designed by Govt. of India for a common man. All things are self explanatory and there are link to video tutorials available for guidance. In case you are still facing problem contact Aadhar helpline given on website
