it depends upon the provisions contained in the grant given by government. if there is a provision for sale it can be purchased. if any prohibition for the sale, you can not purchased it.

You can seek such information from Home dept., or NODAL SPIO of Collector office under RTI.

Information solicited:

1. Please provide a certified copy of laid down norms/regulations/Notifications that state about the sale of land by a freedom fighter.
