i am From Maharashtra and i am animal activist , for animal shelter i want land on lease ...
can i get government land on lease basis ?
if yes please tell me the procedure
if no ,please tell me how can i get government land on lease ?
as private land holders are demanding too high rent for the land and we suppose to help more animals rather giving heavy rent to land lord ... at minimum rate only government can lease us land
please help

First, register such an association as a Voluntary organization and get bye-laws of such society spelling out the objectives. purpose, and implementation of such schemes and the source of funds. Involve some reputed persons or celebrities, identify some wasteland, and petition for the lease of the land for reasonable lease rent. Search website of SPCA for more guidance.
